Solid wood office furniture restoration
1. Do not expose to direct sunlight. Solid wood office furniture will experience thermal expansion and contraction after sun exposure, with some areas cracking, deforming, and the surface becoming even more damaged. Furthermore, the furniture structure will be compromised, and support strength greatly reduced.
2. For water-soaked furniture, use natural air drying or turn on a dehumidifier to completely evaporate the moisture from the furniture. At least restore it to a dry state first, otherwise mold may develop inside over time.
3. After air drying the office furniture, if there is surface damage or scratches, you can apply paint of the same color or apply gloss varnish for an additional layer of protection. Furniture maintenance oils are also available for wood maintenance, mold prevention, and insect prevention.
